    PRIVACY POLICY
    Effective Date: July 16 2025
    Last Updated: July 16 2025

    Trump News Room (“TNR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy—but we are also candid about the broad rights you grant us when you use trumpnewsroom.com (the “Site”) or any related emails, mobile experiences, or services we operate (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you accept this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

    1. SCOPE
      This Policy applies to Personal Information (“PI”) we collect online and offline. “PI” means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to a particular individual or household, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”) and similar state laws.
    2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
      a. Information You Provide Voluntarily
      • Contact data (name, email address, postal address, phone number).
      • User-generated content (comments, submissions, uploads).
      • Marketing preferences, survey responses, contest entries.
      b. Information Collected Automatically
      • Device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs.
      • Usage data (pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, scroll depth, session recordings).
      • Cookies, pixels, local storage, beacons, embedded scripts, and venatic* tracking techniques such as browser fingerprinting.
      c. Information from Third Parties
      • Social-media platforms, ad networks, data brokers, analytics providers, public databases, and affiliates.
    3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
      We may use PI for any lawful business purpose, including to:
      • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
      • Create, manage, and authenticate accounts;
      • Send transactional or administrative messages;
      • Send marketing, promotional, political, or editorial emails and text messages (with the legally required consent);
      • Personalize content and ads, build profiles, perform analytics, conduct audience measurement, and engage in cross-context behavioral advertising;
      • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, and illegal activities;
      • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and law-enforcement requests;
      • Conduct mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, bankruptcy proceedings, or other corporate transactions;
      • Any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection or with your consent.
    4. LEGAL BASES & CONSENT
      • By submitting PI (e.g., entering an email address, filling out a form, or participating in a sweepstakes) you affirmatively grant us permission to email, text, or otherwise contact you for marketing and other purposes. You may opt out at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or emailing webcontact@trumpnewsroom.com.
      • By continuing to use the Services after seeing our cookie/banner notice, you consent to our use of cookies and similar tracking technologies for the purposes described above. You can manage cookies through browser settings or industry-wide opt-out tools. Disabling cookies may limit functionality.
      • Where required by law (e.g., for processing sensitive data or precise geolocation in certain states), we will request explicit opt-in consent.
    5. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
      We may share PI with:
      • Service providers and contractors (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment, customer support, security, etc.);
      • Advertising partners and data analytics partners;
      • Social networks and single-sign-on partners when you interact with embedded plugins;
      • Affiliates, parent, or subsidiary companies;
      • Successors in interest in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale;
      • Law enforcement, regulators, courts, or others when required or allowed by law;
      • Other parties with your direction or consent.
      We do not knowingly sell PI for monetary consideration, but we “share” PI for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under state privacy laws. You may opt out (see Section 8).
    6. COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
      We and our partners use first- and third-party cookies, SDKs, pixels, device identifiers, heat-mapping, session replay, and similar technologies to recognize your browser, improve performance, deliver ads, measure campaigns, and understand audience engagement. For details on each type of tracker and how to opt out, visit our Cookie Preferences page.
    7. DATA RETENTION
      We keep PI as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or until you request deletion, whichever is later.
    8. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS (CA, VA, CO, CT, UT, IA, IN, TN, TX, DE, NJ, and others)
      Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
      • Know/confirm whether we process your PI and access a copy;
      • Correct inaccuracies;
      • Delete PI;
      • Obtain a portable copy (data portability);
      • Opt out of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) sale or share of PI, and (iii) certain profiling;
      • Opt in (or out) of processing sensitive PI;
      • Appeal a denial of your request.
      To exercise any right, email privacy @ trumpnewsroom.com or webcontact @ trumpnewsroom.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by your state law. Agents may submit requests on your behalf with proper authorization. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where legally mandated.
    9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
      The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect PI from children. If we learn we have collected PI from a child, we will delete it promptly.
    10. INTERNATIONAL USERS
      We operate in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your PI in the U.S. and elsewhere.
    11. SECURITY
      We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect PI. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
    12. DO NOT TRACK
      The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. However, you can use the opt-out mechanisms described above.
    13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
      We may update this Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be posted prominently. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the revised Policy.
